How to change Tone curve in Lightroom to RGB

When you tap on the Mode tile, in the pop-up menu that appears, you will see another collection of curve selection: red, green, and blue curves.

You will usually use them to do some color correction tasks (but you really have to understand the curves, usually, well before you do this or you can draw a great color for your image), or make special effects (you don't have to be an expert to master it).

Perhaps the most special effect of using curves could be to create results for the process of making fashion photos or re-creating the look of an Instagram filter.

If you select one of these RGB curves, such as Point - Blue, your Point curve appears on the screen as a normal curve, but the dividing line itself appears in blue (as shown here), so you know you are only working with the blue channel.

A touch in the middle and dragging upwards adds a blue hue over the image to the midtones; dragging down removes the blue, giving you more green (here, I created a small S curve for the effect). The other two channels work in the same way:

Dragging the green channel curve at the top adds more green; dragging down removes the green, thus adding a magenta. Also, dragging the red channel up can add another red one; drag down can add blue (I create an S curve across all of these channels, too).
