How to Remove Background from Image

Delete/Remove a Background in Photoshop Easily

As a expert designer, we should  be know some quick and   very efficient
techniques to extract some particular objects and design element from an image or object. We will be learning about them in this free tutorial.

How to Remove Background in Photoshop: First Example

Below step-by-step guide to remove a background image from Photoshop for example:

Step 1) Select the image you want to remove from the background

This is an image of a model with a clean white background, and we want to remove the model and remove the background in Photoshop.
We can achieve this with the help of a photoshop extraction tool as a "pen tool," but it will be a very time-consuming process. So we can't use a pen to erase the background of a photo.

Step 2) Select the Magic Wand tool and select the background

So now go and get the "magic wand tool" and click on the white background to select it, enter the selection area and hold the "change key" and click on the part you want to include in the selection to split the image in Photoshop.

Step 3) Use Inverse

Now we want to remove the model so we have to select it, go to the menu selection and select "convert" so it will change the selection.

Step 4) Refine the edges

Our selection is made, but nonetheless, it is not well selected, because there are very sharp edges selected from it, and some pixels are not selected at the edges and some unwanted pixels are selected, so to address this issue I will click the "improve edges" button, at the top of the selection bar.

This is a refined edge panel. I change the viewing mode from "black and white" to "black."
Because of the dark background, we see what the problem is with the edges of the model.

Now start drawing on the edges of the model and see how it pulls out some unwanted white pixels in the selection as shown in the example below Photoshop CC.
I removed the rough edges and softened them.

Let me change the viewing mode to "black and white."
Keep in mind that black means "obvious" and white means "opaque."

Step 5) Use the "filtering tool."

Here the other part of the model was clearly visible, so I need to remove it from the selected "clear filter tool" and adjust the selection.
But this is not a big problem so we can deal with it over time.

Step 6) New layer

You can see here some obvious pixels around the edges of the model in some parts. So now change the setting of the "output" option. Select "new layer with layer mask" from the drop-down list.
Press OK

You can see here in the layer panel a new layer is created with a layer mask.
Now here are the obvious pixels here. To deal with it repeat the layer by pressing CTRL + J.
And you see, our problem is solved.

Step 7) Output

You can see with the help of this cool strategy that we have released the model very well.
